Well I performed two more first time calibrations today. Both quite easy once you figure out the correct setup. Despite some of the physical dimensional I can't stand I like gage blocks. I'm gonna get a link to some here and what "wringing" is if I can. The new items were a digital protractor. This one was +/- 45 ° with a low resolution of only .1 degrees. The other item which I've seen alot but never done is a digital caliper. The outside calibration was easy. The inside calibration took some thought and playing as I was not familiar with the accessory kit. Very easy once you get it started. The range was 0-6". There are models that get much bigger but I think it is unlikely to see any at this location as the available gage blocks won't cover the range unless there are more I'm not aware of.
