Ananova - Cyclist to stand trial for 'falling off bike' Violted 8 counts by falling off? ??????

Japanese Matrix like ping pong You've probably seen it but need to watch it again.

Dell's Software License Policy: Dude, you're getting screwed. Still reading it but I'd say its best to not have any pre-installed software. Get OEM Windows and go from there.

NEWS.com.au | Man dies after wife squeezes testicles (August 29, 2003) YEEEOOWWW!

Pioneer Press | 08/28/2003 | WASHINGTON COUNTY: Dead man walking was live man faking Now thats playing dead. I'm dead today so I'll see you next week.

San Mateo Daily Journal Taco Bell poll again. Well as they are promoting the grilled stuffed burrito heavily on TV its really about sales. Its a mock poll for a reason. Just cause a guy eats 6 tacos 3 times a week doesn't mean he'd vote for AS 18 times. He might not even vote.

I think there is a little improvement in the economy. Two possible job offers in one week. At least they are solid contacts. Also once NASA takes to the air again some contracts can be awarded again. I'm sure the investigators got their job but alot of related aerospace industry has had it bad for 6 months.

MyQuicknet A friend sent me this link earlier. It was at the top of my list tonight. There is a news article but I've not got the link handy.

Two things I'm not gonna link to tonight. Gas prices should start falling since the blackout was two weeks ago. They are almost at an all time high and may be next week. Also the RIAA has released some of its methodology in tracking music sharers. Now I don't know but apparently when you rip a song into an mp3 some kind of data as to where it was done (perhaps a local name or MAC address) is included in the file or the ones from Napster did something. They claim to know of songs from Napster still being shared.

A link to last night's MIT stuff Honestly I don't know if I posted the link to the article but here's what it was talking about.

I say Canadians have a strange way of life. Quit yer smiling

I just like the title of this one.The coding monkeys I just hope they aren't on crack like some.

Lovely Google toolbar.

Moving time is near. St. Louis, MO is it this time. Hope it lasts much longer than the 3 months in Coatesville, PA. The future employer is looking for somebody that wants a long term job. I just hope he's looking for somebody with my skills and hope he wasn't too confused on the phone. Rumor has it I talk to fast. Guess that would explain the spelling errors of my brain exceeding my fingers where my mouth can succeed.

music: none. I'm using my alarm clock. gotta make some phone calls before noon. It will be a joy to have my stereo set up again.

Telegraph | Connected | Spy gadget leaves nowhere to hide An expensive spy ware tech toy.

CD-Recordable discs unreadable in less than two years A brief translation but still an eye opener. I'll have to take a look at the list sometime. My Imation and my Pengo seem to be holding up fine so far. I've got a disc from May 01 I can still read. I think i've got a disc I can't find but its after then.

Onto burning man article. briefly on Wired a burning man article.

Hawking Technologies I bought a refurbished one of these a few weeks ago and I'm quite happy. I had to deviate from the install instructions but I sent in a suggestion on a change. My problems might only be because of my aging laptop. If you get a wireless access point set it up to only allow certain MAC addresses. It is an easy form of security.

Nothing of interest on blogdex.net tonight. I found an IST rune in my favorite game tonight. I figured I'd mention it. I'll be adding that in later. I had Zeppe's pizza tonight. Good stuff. If anybody ever goes to Coatesville, PA stop and eat at Jack's Pizza during lunch. Its the best. I ate there 3-5 times a week for lunch for three months. Then I moved. Ever have white pizza with hot dogs and french fries and then some ketchup ? You are missing out on some primo pizza. Another good place for pizza is on Carnival cruises.

Doing some reading before I go to sleep. Starting with this.
Wired News: Write a Story, Go to Jail Works of fiction considered a threat.

John Gilmore I read this a few weeks ago and it has amazingly stuck with me enough to remember the name.

I've had MREs before and some are not that bad. I'd say more but i'm off to sleep. There is a meatless pasta that is good but the hot dogs are too salty. Aroma therapy on food

music: WMMS 100.7 Sounds like the Foo Fighters to me. "all my life i've been searching for something...", then Linkin Park, some more stuff, some POD. This station does streaming audio.

The Times Argus Online - Seeing red

You should take a look for Mars this Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. Here is another link with links to more details.Where is Mars Now?

SCIFI.COM | Schedulebot

I watched Absolon and Airtight tonight. Sci-Fi sure does make some good stuff. I really hope Riverworld does make it to the series stage as it was advertised a few months ago.

Went and saw SWAT today. Good movie imo. Missed one of the catchlines. They either cut it out since the trailer was made or it played when I stepped out. The beginning is much like "44 Minutes The North Hollywood Shootout" as seen on FX. Same situation for starters but a totally different ending. Quite a ripoff of an opener if you ask me. Michelle Rodriguez doesn't have the hairy upper lip in this movie like she does in others. Guess now that she is getting more roles she is changing her look. SLJ wasn't too badass. See if you can spot the traitor before it becomes evident.

Recall Poll

Personally I'd buy a regular crunchy beef taco. I like the new chicken cesar though I've only had one. I used to be a chicken soft type. As far as who i'd vote for : none I don't live in California

Just read some of this. Why pay so much for a poor product is the conclusion I've been coming to about some recent Microsoft products esp. XP. After Blaster and where it intended to hit I'd hope that M$ implements a new quality program.
An article I read part of

See title Thai man dies while laughing in sleep

Big Brother wants to watch the homeless

Can we get a view counter?

Can we get meta tags or something? I'm gonna have to pull out my HTML for Dummies to see if I can make a good change to the template so the various sites that scour the internet may find my corner of insanity.

I was getting a bsod when trying to view my character map. After trying a few things I turned to trusty Google. After I tried a few results I came to a link at this site. If you get a VXD related bsod while trying to open the character map and have an Nvidia based card turn off Nview.

Hehe I'm part of the big fad of blogging or weblogs now. This could be cool.
