St Louis Arch

Following are some pictures from Labor Day weekend taken by either me or my Dad.

Who's this handsome young man? (grin)

The steel mammoth. You can even see the windows looking towards the Mississippi river.

A small picture of the downtown St Louis skyline looking west. In the middle is the old courthouse.

The Edward Jones dome.

Bush Stadium

I was told the gates open two hours before a game starts. This picture was taken about two hours fifteen minutes before. After we came down Cards shirts were on 90% + of the people we saw downtown while taking a stroll.

The five egg shell seats in our pod to the top and back down. There are eight of these in each leg. There is a ratcheting action to keep them level. Yes the door is three to four feet tall. Its either these or well in an unusual case the 600 feet of stairs. You can see the stairs through the small window in the boxes. They are quite steep at some points.

Unrelated to the arch.

A beautiful picture I took July 5th after a heavy early evening rain. A very orange sky.
